Marrie Shirzada is an associate in our Corporate Commercial & Tax Group in Toronto.
Marrie received her J.D. from Queen’s University in 2021. While at law school, she was awarded the Course Prize in Taxation. As well, she served as a student caseworker with Queen’s Legal Aid, Independent Research Student, Editor of the Canadian Journal of Commercial Arbitration and Queen’s Law Journal, member of the Student Advisory Committee for the Queen’s Legal Aid and Project Lead for the Queen’s Tax Law Society.
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University, graduating on the Dean’s Honour List. At York, she excelled as a research assistant, peer mentor and a statistics tutor.
