Stephen Jackson is an experienced litigator and mediator in the Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice. Prior to joining GSNH as Counsel in 2018, Stephen practiced law for 36 years as a Partner at the law firm of Zaldin and Fine LLP.
Litigation represents the heart of Stephen’s practice at all levels of Ontario Courts and tribunals, including the Ontario Court of Appeal.
The focus of Stephen’s business litigation practice includes, contract and commercial disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, mortgage enforcement, commercial lease disputes, real property disputes, construction lien.
Stephen is also frequently retained to deal with estate disputes and negligence litigation.
Stephen has acted as a mediator at the request of many Toronto law firms and has broad experience with resolution of a wide range of disputes. Stephen is an effective listener who is known for his strong interpersonal skills and his ability, patience and persistence to understand and work through complex issues.
The focus of Stephen’s corporate / commercial law practice includes asset and share sales, commercial leasing, real estate, and wills & estates. He has extensive experience with closely held corporations, entrepreneurs and professionals.
