Shane E. Kazushner

Shane E. Kazushner practices in the area of commercial and civil litigation and has acted on behalf of individuals, businesses, corporations, landlords, mortgagees and condominium corporations. Shane's practice involves handling disputes on behalf of his clients in areas including construction, contract, real estate, landlord & tenant, debt collection and insurance matters.

Shane graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2000 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002. He also graduated summa cum laude in 1997 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from York University.

While at Goldman Sloan Nash & Haber LLP, Shane has committed himself to educating clients, students and industry professionals regarding his areas of expertise.  Shane devotes much time and assists other lawyers in the firm in the preparation and publication of construction law papers.  Shane has also authored and co-authored numerous papers, newsletters and articles regarding various construction law and commercial litigation issues.  He also regularly presents and lectures topics of interest to industry professionals as well as Schulich School of Business students at York University.

In his spare time, Shane volunteers as a Toronto Grant Review Team Member for the Ontario Trillium Foundation and as a membership committee member for the Young Patron Circle at the Royal Ontario Museum. His outside interests include camping, cooking, mountain biking and motorcycling.
