David E. Waterhouse B.A., LL.B.
David is a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1976. He was formerly employed in the insurance industry in the professional liability departments of the Simcoe & Erie Group and the Encon Group where he was an assistant vice-president and worked in the area of construction claims. He has spoken extensively on claims matters as they relate to architects, engineers and insurance brokers, and has authored trade magazine articles on engineers and the law. David was certified in mediation by the AMIO, participated in the Attorney-General’s pilot project and has participated in hundreds of mediations over the past decade.
David’s special personal interests include golf and sailing.
